Colic Treatment
Unfortunately, much of our
business comes from the treatment of colicy horses. Dr.
Parker
has 20 years experience diagnosing different types of colic.
From gas colic, impactions, sand colic, twisted intestine,
and endless other causes of colic, we have the resources to
care
for the colicy patient. We have the facility
to hospitalize
your horse, administer IV fluids in a heated colic stall as well as
administering round the clock care.
The low percentage of horses that do require colic surgery
are
referred to Colorado State University or Littleton Large Animal Clinic.
